Now we do it even better.  Introducing Best Technology’s Remote Desktop Support, an enhancement to our existing service offerings that allows our technicians to assist you by sharing your computer desktop–regardless of your location.  So we can begin assisting you immediately!

Of course, if more help is needed, we can travel to your location as well.  Remote Desktop Support is available to all customers of Best Technology.  It will support the following operating systems:

- Windows 2000, XP, and Vista

- Windows Server 2000, 2003, and 2008

- Mac OS X 10.3, 10.4, 10.5+


Best Technology launches smooth jazz radio web site

The new web home of 107.3 FM The WAVE, operated by the Elyria-Lorain Broadcasting Company, has recently launched.  Using a combination of WordPressMU core software and customized modules specific to The WAVE, this site will provide a highly-interactive content experience for WAVE listeners and personalities for many years to come.  Best Technology is proud to have been involved in this exciting project.


E-Scrap Events Posted in Lorain County

The Lorain County Solid Waste Management District has posted for events for 2009 where teams will accept computer and electronic waste material such as old equipment. These dates are:

Saturday, April 4 2009 at the Shoreway Shopping Center in Sheffield Lake, OH

Saturday, June 13, 2009 at the Wellington Township Garage in Wellington, OH

Saturday, July 25, 2009 at the Windstream office on Ternes Rd. in Elyria, OH

Saturday, October 10, 2009 at a location to be announced

Each event runs from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.  The only electronic waste that LCSWMD says they will not accept are batteries, with the exception of cell-phone batteries.  Examples of acceptable waste are computers, monitors, hard disks, mice, keyboards, and printers.
