Having grown significantly since its founding in early 2006, Best Technology has achieved the honor of receiving a Golden 30 award, conferred upon the companies in Erie, Huron, and Lorain counties who have demonstrated world-class business performance in two categories: emerging and established. Best Technology, nominated in June, received word that it will receive a Golden 30 award at the annual Golden 30 banquet to be held at the Spitzer Conference Center in Elyria on November 17.
Regarding the recognition, the company’s co-founder, Ted Wallingford said, “What a thrill and an honor to be recognized like this. I’ve heard people say, ‘while you were getting recognized, I was busy surpassing you.’ But it really feels good anyway. We have an awesome team and they deserve this honor. Best Technology works hard and earnestly, and our customers recognize it every day.”
This is a first-time award for the company, whose growth has occurred during an arguably difficult economic climate. “When times are tough, Best Technology saves our clients money by preventing expensive failures and by rapidly remediating problem situations. Companies turn to us because we save them money by doing I.T. in an entirely new way,” Wallingford said.
Started by Ted Wallingford and Bill Bunevich, Best Technology became a first in many categories: The first vendor-neutral I.T. consulting firm in Lorain county. The first tech services firm to operate within a well-known quality framework. The first to offer a turn-key, appliance based 24×7 network monitoring service. Today, Best Technology has 6 employees and has been recognized as a partner of Google, Dell, Microsoft, Symantec, Kaspersky, Sonicwall, Fidelity Voice, and First Communications.
