Best Technology Partners with HP

Best Technology has been awarded the status of HP partner, allowing us to sell and support HP’s line of servers, storage systems, PCs and laptops, printers, and portable devices.  Beginning in January of 2011, Best Technology clients will have the choice of two manufacturer-authorized computing product lines: Dell and HP, both considered global quality leaders.

“HP is a partner we’ve been pursuing because of their excellent history of quality, service, and uptime,” says Ted Wallingford, lead consultant at Best Technology. “And since we still focus on being a vendor neutral advisor, we needed to offer a sound alternative to Dell.  For that, HP is certainly the best choice for our clients.”

HP, through August of 2010, was the market share leader in shipments of servers for Microsoft Windows, with nearly 40% of all servers shipped.  In addition, the market space for blade server shipments is dominated by HP with 56% of all shipments globally.  Compared to other players in the server arena, HP has a clear advantage in terms of history, serviceability, and longevity.

HP is also the world’s most successful manufacturer of laser printing equipment, being number one in standalone network printers and a competitive player in multifunction devices that combining printing, faxing, and scanning.

“We’re looking forward to our partnership with HP, mostly because of the benefits it will bring to our clients,” says Kelly Sowl, client coordinator at Best Technology.  ”In many cases we’re already servicing our customers’ HP gear, so this a natural fit.”
